About Haverlin
Bookkeeping built by someone who has done the accounting and run a service business.
Why I Started Haverlin
Most bookkeeping services are built to serve any business that walks in the door. That works fine for a lot of companies. It works less well for a business that runs trucks, sends technicians to customer locations, bills recurring service, and feels every seasonal swing in the bank account.
I started Haverlin to do bookkeeping specifically for those businesses.
Background
I’m Christopher Stephens — a bookkeeper and small-business owner who understands firsthand what it takes to keep a business running. I hold a degree in accounting.
In addition to my bookkeeping work, I own and operate a lawn treatment business. I know the challenges that come with managing customers, expenses, payroll, equipment, taxes, and cash flow, because I deal with them myself every month.
I help small-business owners keep their books accurate, organized, and up to date, so they can spend less time worrying about paperwork and more time running their business. My goal is straightforward, dependable bookkeeping that gives owners a clearer picture of where their money is going and how the business is actually performing.

How Haverlin Works
Field Service Focus
Every client runs a service business. The chart of accounts, the reports, and the questions I ask are all built around that.
Practical Reporting
Financial statements organized so you can see what the work costs to deliver and what’s left over, without needing an accountant to interpret them.
Direct Communication
You work directly with the person doing your books. No account managers, no ticket queues.
Remote, Nationwide
Haverlin works with service businesses across the United States. Everything runs through QuickBooks Online and secure document sharing, so location doesn’t matter.
Clear Boundaries
Haverlin does bookkeeping. Tax returns go to your CPA. Keeping those separate keeps the books cleaner and your costs lower.
Organized Books, Every Month
The goal is simple: books that are reconciled, accurate, and current, so you and your tax professional never have to reconstruct the year.
